Our Mission
To identify the health and human service needs of Sumter, Clarendon and Lee Counties, and through an organized joint effort, raise and distribute funds to meet those needs.
Our Work
United Way’s goal is to create long-lasting changes by addressing the underlying causes of community issues related to Education, Income and Health. At United Way, we are in a unique position to make a powerful positive impact within our community by connecting organizations, resources, and solutions. In 2015, we leveraged over $200,000 in local, state and federal grant dollars to address these issues in Sumter, Clarendon and Lee Counties. Through the continued support of our donors, we are able to continue to allocate funds to our community partners working to achieve measurable results.
